My trainers experience as a former examiner gave me a complete picture of what to expect in part 3, and also how to deal with my pupils. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone who wants to become a driving instructor
Delyth Liddington – North Wales

Following 2 failed attempts at part 3 (2-2 both times) with another college; I am delighted and relieved at having passed my final attempt (5-5). Please accept my thanks and appreciation for the training you provided after my 2nd attempt
Fred Gent – Tyne and Wear

Previously I was working very long hours for very little reward driving coaches. Following an excellent training course I qualified as an ADI, after 18 months of experience teaching pupils I am now a Branch Manager with A+Driving School, this company is a really exciting and rewarding environment to work in, A+Driving School is developing quickly and I am developing with it!

A while ago I became disillusioned with my job as a customer liaison manager for an international manufacturing company, after a lot of thought I decided to become a driving instructor. I checked out a number of colleges and chose the one I believed to be the best. Everything seemed to be going well until I failed my Part 3, trying to organise additional training through my chosen college was impossible, so in desperation I looked elsewhere. DIC were a breath of fresh air, their availability and flexibility were second to none, Ron Marshall my trainer made everything so clear and easy to understand. I cannot recommend DIC highly enough I passed my part 3 with a score of 5-5. Further down the line I am now ORDIT qualified and a trainer with DIC passing on the excellent training I received to new trainees.

Everyone needs confidence. Before I came to the DIC programme I had already taken my part 3 twice, I was lacking in confidence and doubting my own ability. I was quite disillusioned with my current training establishment and coming from a graduate background I was frustrated at my shortcomings. Then “out of the darkness came the light” – DIC – My trainer was Ron Marshall. What Ron and DIC did for me in a short space of time was remarkable and the results are there for all to see. I am now a green badge holder and very confident in my teaching ability. I believe that DIC is a name that will be around for a long time.

I am pleased to inform you that I have passed my part 3 and it feels great! I started my training with #### and although they provided much of the information and knowledge required, I feel that without the intense instruction on delivery and presentation provided by DIC I would not have passed at my first attempt. When DIC started my training, the methods were so different to those taught at ####, I wondered if I was choosing the right career. However the encouragement provided by my DIC trainer greatly assisted me. I am enjoying the challenges that the job provides on a regular basis. Each pupil has a different need and expectation and you have to adapt the training to those needs. Thank you once again
Alan Connearn – Lancashire

My initial training took place through another establishment that gave me the bare minimum training that was required. Having failed 2 attempts at my part 3 I was starting to feel that maybe I was not good enough to pass, whilst also feeling worried that soon I would be out of a job and have no income. This was when Ron Marshall was recommended to me, I set up a meeting with Ron who gave me some good tips and encouraged me at every point…my confidence increased with every meeting. We went through all the PST’s for the part 3 exam and corrected any mistakes I was making. Throughout these sessions I was also able to discuss…concerns that I was having with the tuition of my own pupils and got some great advice. I recently qualified as an ADI…without Ron’s help I don’t think I would have. I would personally like to say a big “thank you” to Ron and hope to see you again before my check test!

The whole training experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Thanks to Tony Byiast (my trainer). He got me through part 3 first time, so as you can see the quality of training is there.

I kept seeing various adverts saying "Become a driving Instructor" in local newspapers, and I thought I could do that. I had two interviews and chose DIC. My reasons were simple I did not have to pay out a massive lump sum to start and I liked their friendly, yet professional manner.
The Practical instruction was one to one which I liked, my trainer was very encouraging all the way through and I really enjoyed my time with Mike. I went onto the trainee licence for experience which I now believe is invaluable; I am now fully qualified passing my part 3 in Wolverhampton

I was told by a particular instructor in the Midlands that I could have as much training as I needed for parts 2 and 3, All I had to do was pass part 1 on my own (which I did). When I tried to organise part 2 training I found out it would be in MY car MY petrol and insurance and there is no training available at the moment try again next week!! This trend continued for a month (I had already paid over £1000 for absolutely no training whatsoever) I could get no refund or training. It was then I tried DIC, WHAT A DIFFERENCE, flexible training set around my commitments (and available) in the trainers car. I wish I had heard about DIC earlier

After comparing costs and value of course contents, I decided on a course with DIC. I was glad I did. I am now fully qualified (although I needed 2 attempts at part 3, my mind went blank on the first attempt). I met up with a friend who had trained with +++ and he is now on his final attempt at part 2, so I took him out and was amazed at his lack of training, I have now referred him to DIC for additional training, with their help I am sure he will pass his last attempt.

I did my training course with a National driving College and when I qualified they set me up with a franchise with the driving school which is attached to them and guaranteed me plenty of work, 3 months down the line I was struggling with only 15 hours per week (still expected to pay the full franchise). So I contacted DIC (who had provided me with additional training prior to qualification, I don’t think I would have qualified without the extra training from them) and asked for their help, they put me in touch with A+Driving School who are now supplying me as much work as I need, and I find their service to be excellent.

I had trained with # # # and when I took my second attempt at part three and failed I was gutted and also got scared, I knew where and what I did wrong, and realised that I needed help. I spoke to Driving Instructor College and asked for assistance they put me in touch with Mr Tony Byiast. This is my third session with Tony and I cannot thank DIC enough for Tony is a god send as the saying goes. I learnt the basic skills of being an Instructor which is so vital, I've learnt; How to look! Where to look! What to look for! When to speak! and When not to! There is much more but the simplicity of it all is vital to making every thing a success. I now enjoy my training and really look forward to it.

After careful consideration, and intending to travel as far away as Newcastle upon Tyne to do my Instructor training, I chose DIC, who are Ordit qualified and have a “we come to you” policy; they could give me all my practical training in my own area. My part 2 and 3 trainer was very professional and easy to get on with. As all my training was 1-1 in the car I didn’t feel as if I had wasted any time in a classroom, pretending to drive/teach. I passed my parts 1 and 2 first time and my part 3 on the 2nd attempt (having only just missed passing first time).
Thanks again to everyone involved with DIC.

After 30 years in the Newspaper Industry I found myself redundant so I decided to give a Driving Instructor Course a go. From the initial interview/chat I was aware of the professional people I was dealing with. The Theory, Part 1, had all the books I required to pass the exam along with set modules to validate what I was learning. These were sent away for checking.

Part 2 Training took place locally with a top class trainer who had the patience to train me to drive correctly again after many years of ‘not doing so’. The fun really began at Part 3 stage, Instructional Ability with the same Trainer, Mike. This is the hardest part of the Training but with the fun thrown in it was also very enjoyable and very rewarding. I passed Part 3 first time so I am now fully qualified.
Thanks to you all.
